Sponk Is Typing...
Hello all! My name is Spencer, but I typically live online as Sponk. I'm an electronic musician, artist, reader, and studying chemical engineering. I've also started studying psychology to fulfill my dream of becoming a psychologist.
I'm a big fan for video games (who isn't) especially movement shooters, roguelikes, and deckbuilding games. Here are a few of my favorites, based on playtime:
The Binding of Isaac: An endlessly repeatable, grossly disturbing, focused, but funny roguelike that holds it's Zelda dungeon inspiration on it's sleeve. Play the binding of isaac.
Portal 2: A compact puzzle game that uses it's playtime to find the perfect balance of existential dread and deadpan comedy, while providing the player with difficult yet engaging physics-based problems to solve with a sci-fi staple: the portal gun. I speedrun this game, too. play portal 2
Slay the Spire: another glorious roguelike, this time using a deck of attacks and abilities ascend a mysterious spire, annihilating all enemies that stand in your path. Super easy to play in class, or while idly waiting. play slay the spire
Neon White: an fps platformer based on three words: velocity, quickness, and speed. throw away your guns to get a special movement ability that will propel you to the finish line, but only after popping the dome of every demon in each level. play neon white
Ultrakill: If you thought Neon WHite was fast, play ultrakill. Focusing on more flashy gunplay and stylish movement, you take the role of a robot speedrunning it's way through hell with an arsenal that would make the doom slayer jealous. play ultrakill
Doom Eternal: Speaking of the doom slayer, this game's quality need not be named. play Doom eternal
Inscryption: THe most mysterious game on this list, the brutal escape room you wake up in is not the end. I refuse to spoil this game tho, play Inscryption
